Presales Engineer

Reporting directly to Presales Manager, the Presales Engineer will be responsible for presenting V-Count Solutions’ technical details to the customer and selecting the correct V-Count product and service.

They also assist with technical questions or concerns during the presales process and frequently participate in the project specification’s initial portion. The Presales Engineer will be working closely with the sales team on business proposals, attending meetings with sales managers, and acting as a technical expert.

The Presales Engineer designs and plans POC ( Proof of Concept ) installations with potential customers. After POC success, it is the Presales Engineer who presents the success of POC for the customer. After POC is completed as a won deal, the Presales Engineer manages project rollout until the solution produces valuable results for the customer. At that stage, the project goes live, and the presales engineer hands over the job to support and maintenance. The Presales Engineer acts as a project manager for the whole rollout for the customer while installation activity ( field/remote ) is coordinated by Service Coordinators and Support Specialists.

This position requires moderate experience in sales and technical background.

Presales engineers must be able to adjust presentation materials as needed to provide the type and depth of information required for each recipient
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and V-Count needs.
  • Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations to all audiences, including executive levels
  • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross-functional relationships
  • Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency and professionalism.

Are you matching yourself with the below requirements? 

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience, including two or more years in a presales engineering or consulting role.
  • Previous experience in technology solutions
  • Fluent English is a must, and a second fluent language is a plus
  • Ability to build a network of useful relationships and effective alliances with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to clearly articulate ideas at all levels of the organization is a must
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well.
